DIY pore srtips

beautiful-things
Pore strips are a great way to clean your pores. And it is recommended that you use them once a week. But, buying pore strips every week or so can get a little pricy! So here’s a fast and easy recipe for pore strips.
There are only two ingredients!
1 tablespoon unflavored Jell-O (the powdered kind)
1 tablespoon of milk!

Procedure-
mix together the Jell-O and the milk. ( it should look pretty gloppy )
put the mixture in the microwave for 10 seconds
apply mixture to nose. (once it is cool)
wait about 10 minutes
it should be dry now (you can usually feel if it is or isn’t), go ahead and pull it off your face (carefully! it can hurt!)
once its all peeled off I suggest apply your favorite serum or lotion! sense your pores are clear your skin soaks up nurturance easer. I like using a lotion with vitamins in it because I tend to have dry skin.
Good luck! 🙂

The easy ring

No girl has too much jewelry! We always need more 🙂 . I love rings but I sadly don’t own any… until now. This took me all of 5 minutes to do! Super easy and very cute!
ring1
supply’s-
flat nosed jewelry pliers
a round object about the size of your finger (I used my powder brush 🙂 )
a thick piece of wire
and a file (I used a emery board that I don’t use anymore)

Procedure
ring2
Wrap your wire around the object of your choice.
ring3
Take the players and pull the sides opposite way as shown (make sure it fits before you do this 🙂 )
ring4
Curve in the sides to make two loups ( I like them round but your can make them more almond shaped as well its also very cute!)
ring5
Cut down the sides for desired look
ring6
File down the rough edges
ring7
here’s the finished product! 🙂

good luck!

chocolate crack

chocolate crack
I absolutely love Chocolate Crack! its insanely tasty and great for gifts and party’s!
Chocolate Crack
ingredients-
1 box of graham crackers (I like to use chocolate graham’s 🙂 but I have used normal graham cracker’s before and they still taste scrumptious!)
2 sticks salted butter (1 cup, 8 ounces, 1/2 pound)
1 cup brown sugar (don’t forget to pack it down)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12- ounce pack)

preheat your oven to 350*
Line a 10-inch by 15-inch cookie sheet with foil. (its better to use a cookie sheet with turned up sides so it doesn’t make a mess in the oven)
Spray baking spray on the foil so the crack ( 😉 ) doesn’t stick!
Start placing a layer of graham crackers, make sure it covers the whole bottom of the pan.
Go ahead and set aside.
Combine the butter with the brown sugar in a pan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly!
Let boil for exactly five minutes, stirring constantly! (if it spatters to much, turn down the heat)
Pour the mixture over the graham crackers as evenly as you can (don’t sweat it too much if its not crazy even the heat from the oven should even it out some)
Slide the cookie sheet into the oven and bake it for about ten minutes.
When the baking is done, take out your pan and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. give the chips some time to melt ( I wait around a minute or two )
Once they are completely melted spread them out as evenly as possible!
Place it in the refrigerator to chill.
Once it has chilled peel the foil off of the cookies and break into random sized pieces

Good luck and happy baking!

DIY Hair Bow

orrigainal bow
DIY cloth hair bow-
I took a piece of cloth, 4 1/2 in.tall by 2 1/2 in.wide
I then secured down each side so it wouldn’t fray (and to be honest I think that it look’s really cute 🙂 )
secured sides

don’t worry about mistakes or sloppy stitching no one will notice!
mistakes no problem
(go ahead and set that piece aside 🙂 )
take a smaller piece I took a piece 2 in. tall and 1 in. wide. Go ahead and secure the sides down like we did before I folded both sides into the middle and did one stitch (the lazy way 🙂 )
smaler peice
Go ahead and take the larger piece you set aside before (I pinned down the middle and then put the smaller loop around the middle it seamed a bit easer to place the loop around)
silly bow
and sewed down the sides of the loop so it was secure
sewn down sides
and you have your bow (after you take out the pin of course)
finished bow
I tested different clips to see witch did the best, I found that a bobby pin and a mini hair clip held up the best
bobbypin
(the back of both of these look horrible I know, but who’s going to see the back anyway?)
wire
In the one with the mini hair clip, I put wire in so I could shape it how I wanted it. I took 4 pieces of wire a bit longer than each side and made a loop out of the end and slid it into the pocket made by securing the sides I secured the loop buy stitching it down. have fun and good luck!
