I absolutely love Chocolate Crack! its insanely tasty and great for gifts and party’s!
1 box of graham crackers (I like to use chocolate graham’s 🙂 but I have used normal graham cracker’s before and they still taste scrumptious!)
2 sticks salted butter (1 cup, 8 ounces, 1/2 pound)
1 cup brown sugar (don’t forget to pack it down)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12- ounce pack)
preheat your oven to 350*
Line a 10-inch by 15-inch cookie sheet with foil. (its better to use a cookie sheet with turned up sides so it doesn’t make a mess in the oven)
Spray baking spray on the foil so the crack ( 😉 ) doesn’t stick!
Start placing a layer of graham crackers, make sure it covers the whole bottom of the pan.
Go ahead and set aside.
Combine the butter with the brown sugar in a pan. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly!
Let boil for exactly five minutes, stirring constantly! (if it spatters to much, turn down the heat)
Pour the mixture over the graham crackers as evenly as you can (don’t sweat it too much if its not crazy even the heat from the oven should even it out some)
Slide the cookie sheet into the oven and bake it for about ten minutes.
When the baking is done, take out your pan and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. give the chips some time to melt ( I wait around a minute or two )
Once they are completely melted spread them out as evenly as possible!
Place it in the refrigerator to chill.
Once it has chilled peel the foil off of the cookies and break into random sized pieces
